5 Easy Ways to Detox your Body!

4864404_origYou probably have heard about cleansing and detoxifying couple of times already! What is Detox?
In simple word detoxifying is the process in which you take the time to get rid of the bad toxin out of your body.
Today I am sharing five naturals and easy way to get rid of the bad toxins from your body.

1.Drink a green smoothie
A great measure to cleanse your body is to try to replace a meal a day with a green smoothie. This is super easy to handle and it won’t harm you. Remember to use fresh and organic ingredients.  A smoothie for breakfast is a great way to boost your metabolism and to kick your digestive system.

2. Intense Massage
A different way of getting rid of your bad toxins is to get a good intense massage that will focus on pressure points on your body . When you receive a deep tissue massage, the toxins gets a chance to release so this will help you detoxifying naturally. Sport Massage or even Swedish Massage works well.  Last week I had an intense sport massage after a long run, it felt a bit painful at the start but then I felt better few days after. Don’t forget to drinks lots of water after your massage to flush the toxins out of your body

3.Drink more Water
This one kinds of makes me smile, because I don’t know how many times I have already told you to drink more 😉 Well that’s my healthy motto ! Water is literally the easiest and more natural way to cleanse your body.  Drinking lots of water will clear your skin, helps your digestive systems, respiratory and more. So keep that bottle next to you!

4.Add more super food into your meals!
This point is for me, I am trying to incorporate more superfoods into my meals. Superfoods are important as they contain lots of nutrients and antioxidants that will help fight against infection. They are super important for your overall health.  Try to incorporate them into your daily meals for better antioxidants concentration into your system.
Some example of superfood:

  • Avocado
  • Almond
  • Walnuts
  • Olive oil
  • Flax feeds
  • Berries
  • Kale, Spinach

5. Eliminate common sources of toxins!
Some habits that you thinks are good for you are actually contributes in the increase of toxins into your body. Some are very obvious like tobacco, or any form of smoking.  Excessive consumption of alcohol and caffeine. Processed foods, fried foods, or other foods made out of unnatural ingredients. So remember when a products has to much ingredients listed it’s probably not what your body needs 🙂

The key to a healthy lifestyle is to be balanced! Focus on eating right, exercising and taking the time for your body and mind to relax.
